How the program works

The primary goal of this program is to equip you with all the tools you need to build a strong and sustainable practice...and in order to do that, it requires your commitment. Just like changing your diet or quitting a bad habit, you will have to continuously check back in if you want the habit to form. The program is divided into 9 weeks of practice, giving you more than enough days to create healthy habits that will help you to create lasting, positive change in your life. But don't worry, we've done all the hard work for you! Just like a Meal Planner would plan your meals or a Personal Trainer would plan your workouts, this 9-week program is outlined for you in a way that will keep you committed to practicing and connected to the information.

To make things simpler, each weekly plan only includes five days of scheduled activities and two days of rest. You can arrange these days however you like, but make sure you give yourself rest and time to process and digest what you have learned. Each week you will receive the following information:

  1. A short introductory video explaining the theme and setting the tone for your week.
  2. A reading that includes journaling prompts, a weekly mantra, and a deeper examination of the weekly theme.
  3. A five-day calendar outlining your activities for each day. This calendar includes guided audio practices and links to our meditation podcast so you can dive deep into all the elements of the yogic lifestyle.
  4. Printable Posture Cards that you can use to guide you in your own practice. Each Posture Card includes a photo and essential cues you'll need to find alignment and integrity in your postures.

Take Note:

Since the goal of the program is to prepare you for a strong home practice, the number of guided audio practices intentionally decreases over the course of the weeks, and there are no guided practices in the last three weeks of the program. We highly recommend getting a journal and keeping notes for yourself after each of your practices. You can also use your journal to make entries using the journaling prompts ("Stimulating Thoughts") in each week's readings. All of the weekly readings are available for download and can be printed and compiled as a sort of guidebook that you can refer back to whenever you need.
